This day gives opportunities to deepen our comprehension and develop our Zero Balancing skills through shared exchanges of hands-on work.

Open to all who have taken one or more Core Zero Balancing workshops.
Alan Hext is a Traditional Acupuncturist and Certified Zero Balancer practising in Swanage and Poole in Dorset. He is a co-founder of the ZBA UK, having studied with and regularly assisted the founder of Zero Balancing, Dr Fritz Frederick Smith since 1983. In 2015 & 2016 Alan taught with the ZBA UK teaching team at the Zero Balancing Masterclass annual residentials at Gaunts House in Dorset. Alan has enjoyed teaching Zero Balancing internationally from Japan to Jamaica since 1989. He has also developed and taught the Zero Balancing Skills workshops, ‘The Roots of Zero Balancing in the Chinese Traditions’, ‘Within the Interface’ and ‘The Structure of Energy’. He taught at BA and MA degree level at the College of Traditional Acupuncture where Fritz Smith also trained. Alan graduated in 1979, later receiving his Bachelor and Masters degrees from Professor JR Worsley. He is a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the largest body of professional acupuncturists in Britain. In 2016 Alan will be teaching aspects of Five Element Acupuncture to BSc degree students at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. Zero Balancing is a superb therapeutic skill which can be used as a bodywork in its own right as well as a perfect complement to traditional acupuncture treatment.
